UKIPT Cork 2011
The UKIPT heads to Cork in May 2011 for what again promises to be an amazing line up of live poker. The UK and Ireland Poker Tour is brought to you by PokerStars.com and excitment is building and players are qualifying online for the main event right now!
New ground is broken in leg 4 of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) sponsored by PokerStars, as the tour heads to Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork. It will be the first time that this historic city has featured on the UKIPT and, with the excellent international connections available from nearby Cork Airport, it is certain to be a popular destination for poker players from all over Europe.

The Rochestown Park Hotel has recently undergone an 18million Euro refurbishment to make it one of the premier hotels in Cork, and features 150 luxury bedrooms, 12 conference rooms, a beauty centre, restaurant and bar. Early booking of accommodation is recommended if you intend staying at the hotel during the festival.
The event runs from Friday May 19 until Monday May 22, and features a 100.000 Euro guaranteed Main Event, with a buy-in of just €500.00 + €60.00. Online qualification will be available on the PokerStars web site throughout April and May, with satellites running from as little as $2.22 or 111 frequent player points.
Many of the UK´s leading poker players will be in action at the event as the UKIPT is one of the most popular tours on the domestic circuit. You can also expect many of the PokerStars pros to battle it out with the local talent, with the aim of a seat in the prestigious London EPT Grand Final in their sites.
