Blackpool £100 Deepstack

After a sleepless night of getting in and out of bed not really knowing what to do i decided to stay put, get some shut eye and head for Blackpool for the £100 Monthly Deepstack. This is a really excellent tournament with a good mix of good and bad players. I always last until near the bubble but have NEVER cashed in this event, bubbled twice but never any money.

The tournament starts at 3pm and the casino is about 2 1/2 hours away at most, the misses shook me at 11.45 to which i pounced in to action by rolling over and going back to sleep. 12 0′clock came and i did get up, got dressed, had a cuppa and by 12.30 was walking to the car doing the usual checks, keys, cash, go!

After 10 mins of driving i gave up turned round and went back home, I’ve no real idea why but just wasn’t really in the mood for it, plus i suppose with the gukpt starting next week in the same casino i’ll be there for a few days anyway! So Saturday (Haloween) was a very uneventful day poker wise for me. On the plus side I suppose i can now get on with sorting this web site out ready to run some leagues and provide the information for which it’s intended.

I’m writing this and have no clue wtf to do today now really, there a party to take the kids to at 4pm so until then I’ll keep walking around in circles wondering why i didn’t just keep driving and play the tournament. For future reference I’m gonna try and plan in advance a bit better and pick and choose which live events i really want to play and make the effort to get out of my pit.
