GUKPT Blackpool November 2010

It’s back up North to Sunny Blackpool for the GUKPT and as always it’s predicted to be one of the busiest and best legs of the UK Poker Tour. It all begins on the 6th of November with a nice £150 freezeout and the Blackpool GUKPT Main Event starts on November the 11th with day 1a.

Blackpool really is a great place to play live poker and the highlight of the calendar at the G Casino is without doubt when the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour hits town. There is as always plenty of side event action and cash games will be running around the clock (24 hours last Year – probably the same again)

Main Event Maximum Capacity = 200 Players + Alternates on each starting day.

Registration closes 15 minutes before the start of each tournament,  late entries/alternates are accepted during the first two levels of play in the main event.

10-Seat Guaranteed Super Satellite

At 7.30pm on Friday 5th November,, there will be a £50 NL Hold’em Rebuy Super Satellite into the main event, with 10 seats guaranteed (with 40 players or more).

Afternoon Super Satellites

At 2pm on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday there are rebuy super satellites into the main event. These will either be £30 or £50 rebuy tournaments.

Hotels & B&B Near The G Casino Blackpool

The best place to look for accomodation is Station Road which is about 200 metres opposite the casino, there is a travelodge also directly oposite and a 2 min walk away.

Blackpool is full of B&B’s and it’s fairly quiet inNovember so you shouldn’t have too much troble finding one to suit. Beare however as some are shall we say; “not the best” so check out reviews when booking.

Bed and Breakfast is around £20 to £30 a night.
