Live UK Poker Tournament Schedules 2019

UK poker tournaments2019 is a big Year for live casino poker tournaments as players see the GUKPT, the Pokerstars UKIPT and the return of the Unibet UK poker tour. It really does seem as though the game as a whole is making somewhat of a comeback and that’s a really good thing!

UK Poker Tours & Events Explained

We are spolit for choice when it comes to choosing live poker tournaments here in the UK. From playing at your local pub poker league to mingling with the stars or getting involved with DTD in Nottingham. Dusk till Dawn is the biggest and best live poker club in Europe, and it’s right here in the UK!

GUKPT – The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour

The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour or GUKPT for short is the UK longest-running and in our opinion best live events the Country has to offer. The schedule has expanded Year upon Year and now has added events such as the Summer Series which features a lower buy in of £500 for main events compared to £1000 for the main tour itself.

The venues are the many G Casino’s found in most locations so making arrangements to play a local poker event is always easy. Manchester, Luton, Walsall, London, Brighton, Blackpool, Bolton, Aberdeen are just a few of the stop on the tour.

The live-action is superb and it’s a great chance for newer players or those who mostly play online to come face to face with some of the UK and Europe’s biggest poker names. UKIPT – UK and Ireland Poker Tour

The UKIPT launched this Year has been a huge success and it’s no wonder when you consider the power behind it. The tour is brought to you by Pokerstars the largest poker site in the World, and one that deserves the recognition it gets from millions of players around the Globe.

The Pokerstars Live Events feature a Main Event of £500 for the majority which is half the price of Grosvenor Casinos offerings. What’s more, is the quality of play, the UKIPT is a bit louder, to say the least with a few players perhaps having a few too many shandies possibly because they only ever play online, and are overexcited to be out of the house.
